Item 2B 2 - Statewide Truck Parking Study (Presentation)
The Statewide Truck Parking Study represents the first comprehensive analysis of truck
parking in Texas. The study identifies and prioritizes current and future truck parking
needs and challenges, as well as potential impacts across the state. The study outlines
comprehensive policy, outreach, coordination, technology, program, and infrastructure
recommendations, and an implementation roadmap for addressing the identified needs.
Staff will provide an overview of the findings and recommendations of the study.

OPEN COMMENT PERIOD - At the conclusion of all other agenda items, the commission will allow
an open comment period, not to exceed one hour, to receive public comment on any other matter that is
under the jurisdiction of the department. No action will be taken. Each speaker will be allowed a
maximum of three minutes. Speakers must be signed up prior to the beginning of the open comment
period.
